In Ireland we have a fairly unique climate. We are on the edge of Europe and the edge of the Atlantic. Weather systems - especially lows move in from the Atlantic. Most of our weather comes from the west - the Atlantic. We need to understand Atlantic Weather Systems and the more elusive High Pressure Systems. With an understanding of what causes our weather we should be able to read and understand the weather forecast - enabling to plan ahead and be safer at sea.
Online class using Zoom. You must have a personal Zoom account which is free to set up on www.zoom.us. A work or sports org account will NOT do.
