It is true that Eddie has a love affair with the Isles of Scilly – he has been going there since the year he started SailCork back in 1974. This is the closest part of England to Ireland – just 130 miles from Cork Harbour. It is a world apart – golden beaches and rugged unspoilt scenery – yet very challenging in terms of pilotage. The Isles of Scilly can act as a gateway to Cornwall and Devon if you are on an extended cruise – great information and tips on Falmouth, Fowey, Plymouth, Salcombe, Dartmouth etc.
